Private Foraging Courses

Limited private course availability for 2025!
We offer foraging, wild food, plant identification, mushroom identification, folklore, UV/biofluorescence and general nature interest walks, courses and workshops for private groups, corporate groups, individuals and organisations. If you wish to include cooking sessions or catering, an event manager will need to be utilised, which will impact the cost of your event. Private courses start from £400, excluding venue hire and travel costs. Please note, you will need to have permission from the landowner to run your course. Not all of the venues we operate at are available for use for private courses.
One-to-one sessions start from £50 per hour - minimum two hours. These sessions are for those who already have at least a basic knowledge of wild edibles and are familiar with the legalities and safety considerations of foraging. Or, those who are wishing to improve/learn general plant and fungi identification skills (not foraging). Delegates should decide what areas they wish to cover as these sessions are not formatted like an open course would be. Only available in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. Only available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, not available in Autumn.

Available dates for private courses are taken up very quickly, so booking well in advance is advised.
