Trees are fantastic - they clean the air, improve the soil, provide food, sustain life. And, each species has its own fabulous uses, stories, life cycle and partnerships.
Discover just how tremendous trees really are at the beautiful Hunstanton Park, Norfolk.
On this walk, you will learn about the identification, folklore, uses, history, and importance to wildlife of a selection of tree species. You will be amazed how much there is to discover about these important organisms..
The educational walk will include:
the basics of identifying tree species
botanical and biological information
edible, medicinal and other uses
"You walk past trees every say and just don't realise what fascinating stories they have behind them or how they play such important roles"
Edibility will not be the main focus of this course

£25 per person (inc fees) - 1.30pm - 4pm
Hunstanton Park, Norfolk - exact meeting point emailed two days before walk
Varying terrain, mostly grassland, waterside and woodland
Participants must be aged 18 years or older - no children under 18 or babes in arms allowed on this course
Dogs are not allowed to be brought along on this course
