Mushroom foraging can be exciting and a little scary at the same time. With so many species visible to the naked eye, how can you even begin to know which ones are edible?
 

This beginners' courses will introduce you to some of the easiest to identify common edible fungi in the UK. It highlights possible lookalikes and how to tell them apart. It also explains where you will find fungi and UK laws and rules affecting the foraging of them.
 

After this course you will:

• have been introduced to over 20 easy to identify edible UK species

• know where to look for these species

• gain an insight into identification points
